Saint Anselm College, a private, liberal arts college in Benedictine tradition, is seeking a full-time, 11-month (June off) Prevention Education Specialist. The Prevention Education Specialist develops and implements campus-wide violence prevention education while serving as one of the College's designated Confidential Resource Advisors (CRA) for students impacted by sexual misconduct, relationship violence, domestic violence, stalking, and sexual harassment.
Rooted in Saint Anselm College's Benedictine tradition, this position promotes a campus culture of hospitality, community, respect for the inherent dignity of every person, and care for the common good through evidence-informed prevention initiatives, outreach, and education.
As one of the College's designated Confidential Resource Advisors, the Prevention Education Specialist provides confidential support, information, safety planning, and referrals, but does not conduct investigations or participate in disciplinary decision-making.
The position reports to the Director of Operations at The Harbor, the violence prevention office within Saint Anselm College Health Services, and collaborates with Student Affairs, Title IX, Athletics, Residence Life, Campus Safety, Counseling, faculty, staff, and community partners. This position is supported by grant funding and is subject to the continued availability of funding.
