Job summary

Saint Anselm College seeks a full-time Prevention Education Specialist to develop and evaluate campus-wide violence prevention programs and serve as a Confidential Resource Advisor for students affected by interpersonal violence.

You will collaborate with Student Affairs, Title IX, Athletics, and other departments to promote safe, inclusive communities and deliver trauma-informed support and outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, public health, criminal justice, education, or a related field.
• Two years of experience in prevention education, higher education, victim services, counseling, public health, or related field.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and interpersonal violence prevention.
• Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate campus-wide violence prevention programs that foster respect, inclusion, belonging, and personal responsibility.
• Facilitate workshops on consent, healthy relationships, bystander intervention, sexual violence, dating and domestic violence, stalking, and trauma-informed practices.
• Coordinate awareness campaigns and outreach events that strengthen community and promote student well-being.
• Recruit and support peer educators and student leaders.
• Assess program effectiveness and maintain participation data.
• Serve as Confidential Resource Advisor for students affected by interpersonal violence and provide trauma-informed support and referrals.
• Explain reporting options, supportive measures, and processes while respecting student autonomy.
• Collaborate across campus to advance a coordinated response and assist with grant-funded initiatives.
