SAFE Project is seeking a part-time Prevention Education Coordinator/ Advocate to lead prevention programming and advocate for survivors in Albany County. The role involves presenting to diverse audiences, coordinating events, and providing crisis and advocacy support.

Monday–Friday daytime hours with some evenings and weekends required, plus an on-call crisis line commitment. The position offers 25-28 hours per week, with paid holidays, sick time, vacation, personal days, and Wyoming

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills (written, oral, public speaking).
• Strong collaboration with a team and ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate primary prevention programming and develop educational presentations for diverse audiences from preschool to teens and educators.
• Deliver prevention topics including SAFE Project services, healthy relationships, teen dating violence, and violence prevention.
• Provide advocacy services for survivors, including crisis intervention, safety planning, and court/agency accompaniment; participate in 24-hour crisis line shifts.
