Qualifications

Job Type/Status: Monday - Friday, 40 total hours/week

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and implementing programs in schools and communities.
• Establish alliances with organizations which have similar or allied goals, such as, school board, local law enforcement, healthcare providers, community centers and service providers.
• Serve as a customer service role model to ensure a positive relationship in interactions with all participants in the schools and community.
• Provide supervision to a team of prevention specialists who will provide training and workshops to the community and youth.
• Implement evidence-based prevention services and curricula with fidelity.

Requirements:

• Experience working with and empowering at-risk youth and marginalized communities by conducting prevention education (e.g., substance abuse, pregnancy prevention, mental health, and well-being sessions, etc.) activities.
• Master's degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, public administration, social work, etc.) required.
• Experience in community organizing, developing community partnerships, implementing evidence-based programs and project management.
• Minimum five years of experience working in a social service environment implementing evidence-based practice models; three (3) years of which shall be in a supervisory capacity.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license, safe driving record.
• Vehicle with current insurance and valid registration.
