The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance on plant equipment. This position is a full-time, hourly non-exempt position reporting to the Machine Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain CNC machines and other plant equipment to keep them in optimal running condition.
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as greasing, fluid and filter changes, inspections, recordings, and minor adjustments.
3. Clean plant equipment safely, working at heights and in close quarters.
4. Disassemble and reassemble machine components, with and without detailed diagrams.
5. Keep a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

1. 1-2 years of experience maintaining mechanical equipment.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Basic math skills.
4. Understanding of common hand tools.
5. Ability to follow instructions and learn new information.
6. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
