Job summary

Yellowhouse Machinery in Midland, TX is seeking a Field Lube Technician to perform lubrication and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment in the field. You will work independently to support operations and maintain service records.

You will inspect equipment, operate the service truck, follow safety guidelines, and communicate status to supervisors and customers. Employer-paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401K, and PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of lubrication systems.
• Ability to work independently in outdoor field environments.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Previous lubrication or equipment maintenance experience is a plus.

Yellowhouse Machinery is currently accepting applications for Field Lube Technician at our Midland, TX location. Must be able to perform lubrication and preventive maintenance services on heavy equipment in the field while adhering to company safety standards. Must have the skill set to work independently, maintain accurate service records, and communicate effectively with supervisors and customers.

Purpose

The Field Lube Technician ensures proper lubrication and preventive maintenance of heavy equipment to maximize performance, minimize downtime, and extend equipment life. This role supports operational efficiency and safety standards in field environments.

Reports To: Service Manager

• Performs lubrication and fluid services on heavy equipment and machinery in the field.
• Inspects equipment for leaks, wear, and other maintenance needs.
• Maintains accurate service records and documentation.
• Operates and maintains service truck and inventory of lubricants and supplies.
• Follows all safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
• Communicates effectively with supervisors and team members regarding equipment status.
