Job summary

Yellowhouse Machinery is seeking a Field Lube Technician for our Dalhart, TX location to perform lubrication and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment in the field, ensuring safety and compliance. You will maintain service records, operate the service truck, and communicate with customers and supervisors.

The role requires independence in outdoor settings, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of lubrication systems.
• Ability to work independently in outdoor and field environments.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in equipment maintenance or lubrication services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs lubrication and fluid services on heavy equipment and machinery in the field.
• Inspects equipment for leaks, wear, and other maintenance needs.
• Maintains accurate service records and documentation.
• Operates and maintains service truck and inventory of lubricants and supplies.
• Follows all safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
• Communicates effectively with supervisors and team members regarding equipment status.
• Provides basic technical support where applicable.
• Ensures all tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order.
• Executes other duties as assigned by management.

Yellowhouse Machinery is currently accepting applications for Field Lube Technician at our Dalhart, TX location. Purpose:

The Field Lube Technician ensures proper lubrication and preventive maintenance of heavy equipment to maximize performance, minimize downtime, and extend equipment life. This role supports operational efficiency and safety standards in field environments.

Reports To: Service Manager

• Performs lubrication and fluid services on heavy equipment and machinery in the field.
