Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to help keep customer heavy equipment running safely and efficiently.

The role is based in Irving, TX, with responsibilities including inspections, routine service, and minor repairs to ensure equipment uptime. Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude: diesel or mechanical experience preferred; technical training is a plus.
• Required tools: basic tools needed to perform preventative maintenance work.
• CDL: Class B CDL with air brakes required to safely operate company vehicles.
• Communication skills: strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Technical skills: comfort using computers and technology for documentation and reporting.
• Valid work authorization: candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs: on heavy equipment.
• Complete routine service work: change fluids, replace filters, lubricate components, and perform minor parts replacement.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely: while working in the shop or field.
• Maintain inventory and organization: of the lube truck and service materials.
