Job summary

Yellowhouse Machinery in Dalhart, TX is seeking a Field Lube Technician to perform lubrication and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment in the field. You will work independently, keep accurate service records, and communicate equipment status to supervisors and customers.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, the ability to work outdoors, and a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of lubrication systems.
• Ability to work independently in outdoor and field environments.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs lubrication and fluid services on heavy equipment and machinery in the field.
• Inspects equipment for leaks, wear, and other maintenance needs.
• Maintains accurate service records and documentation.
• Operates and maintains service truck and inventory of lubricants and supplies.
• Follows all safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
• Communicates effectively with supervisors and customers regarding equipment status.
• Provides basic technical support where applicable.
• Ensures all tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order.
• Executes other duties as assigned by management.
