Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. is looking for a Preventive Maintenance Technician to perform PM on TRUMPF CNC machines across the United States, including travel to customer sites.

The role includes onsite training, safety reviews, and reporting, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and maintaining customer relationships.

Required: a two-year technical degree, electrical/hydraulic/mechanical knowledge, and a valid driver's license; travel is 100% nationwide with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical school degree in Engineering principles or equivalent.
• Experience with electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics and hydraulics is helpful.
• Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver's license and record.

This position is responsible for execution of preventive maintenance (PM) on TRUMPF CNC machines while building and developing strong customer relationships. This position requires travel 100% nationwide, including overnight stays and occasional weekend travel. Explaining the work done, reviewing the safety evaluation, activity reports,* maintenance checklist and related topics.* Provide onsite training to customers for operation and/or maintenance of machines.* Execute PM on TRUMPF CNC machines (laser-cutting, punching, press-brake and laser-punch combination) in accordance with checklists and TRUMPF guidelines.* Must be able to lift 70 pounds without aid.* Work carefully with the Product Support for technical assistance and provide them with diagnostic feedback* Work together with PM scheduler in respect of planning and scheduling missions.* Flexible / adaptable attitude regarding last minute changes to schedule and mission.* Submit organized and helpful mission reports within a day after completing the mission.
