Job summary

TRUMPF, Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair TRUMPF CNC machines at customer sites across the United States. You will build strong customer relationships and provide diagnostic feedback to Product Support and management.

Travel will be extensive, including overnight stays and international trips as required. The role requires an associate degree or technical schooling in engineering principles or related experience, plus familiarity with electronics,

Qualifications

• Associates program or technical school degree in Engineering principles or a suitable combination of education and work experience.
• Experience in computer software, file management, electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics and hydraulics is helpful.
• Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver's license and record.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair TRUMPF CNC machines on customer sites.
• Build and develop strong customer relationships through service excellence.
• Report technical conditions and provide diagnostic feedback to PSG and management.
• Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and documentation to repair and optimize equipment.
• Provide onsite training to customers on operation and repair of machines.
• Submit organized service reports for each repair mission.
