These positions perform general inspections, planned and demand maintenance tasks of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment in one of nine Park Authority Rec Centers to include chillers, cooling towers, gas fired boilers and furnaces, automated energy management systems, stand‑alone heat and AC units, commercial plumbing, and electrical components. Ensures that all building systems are inspected and in compliance with local, state, national building, health, and fire codes. Responsibilities also include keeping track of operational cost for building systems, maintenance, and repairs for planned and demand maintenance, conducting site safety inspections, site mechanical inspections, and facility inspections. Coordinates, supervises, and inspects all contracted building repairs, and preventive maintenance work performed, prepare purchase requests, and uses procurement card as necessary for repairs. Additionally, the positions maintain workflow in the automated work order system for assigned tasks, reads and interprets building blueprints and provides technical guidance on projects as a team member. Also operates trucks to transport self and others, material, and equipment to multiple sites.

: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education, training and experience equivalent to:
High school graduation or a GED issued by a state department of education, plus two years of supervisory experience in building maintenance and repair.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
The appointee to the position will be required to complete a criminal background check and driving record check to the satisfaction of the employer.

Ability to climb using either a ladder or portable lift. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted. All duties may be performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
