The Prince George’s County Office of Central Services is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill a Maintenance Services Attendant I/II (Maintenance Services Attendant 1A) grade A10/11 position, in the Facilities Operation and Management Division.
This position may work in various County facilities, including the correctional facility. This is an entry level, skilled and manual work in the maintenance and repair of County owned and leased buildings and structures. Incumbent is responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the trade occupations, e.g. (plumbing, general carpentry, electrical, painting, etc.) Assignments are received in the form of oral or written work orders and is performed under close supervision. Upon the satisfactory completion of the probationary period, the position incumbent may, at the discretion of management, be promoted to the II full performance level.
The Office of Central Services is a multifaceted agency of the Prince George’s County Government providing government-wide, mission critical support services in the areas of facilities operations and management, building design & construction, real estate services, fleet management, and general services.
