Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician for second shift to perform preventive maintenance on customer and rental machines at customer sites in Georgia.

You will drive to sites daily, inspect and service equipment, and complete work orders, staying compliant with safety regulations. The role requires a mechanical background with 2–3 years of heavy equipment or truck experience, basic computer skills, and flexibility to work some nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a mechanical background with 2 to 3 years of experience with heavy equipment, automotive, or on highway trucks.
• Basic computer skills
• Can work independently with little to no supervision
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include some nights and occasional weekends
• Candidates missing one requirement will still be considered
• Must have a valid Georgia driver license, prefer Class B - CDL

Responsibilities

• Drive to customer’s job site daily to complete preventive maintenance.
• Operate heavy equipment to determine deficiencies or performance issues daily.
• Perform all necessary preventive maintenance work for each specific interval service.
• Complete all work orders, time sheets & inspections from completed services.
• Operate service truck safely and comply with all regulations.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL license if required
• Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician, you will be performing preventive maintenance on various types of customer/rental machines as per machine guidelines in a safe and timely manner on customer job sites.

You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Must have a mechanical background with 2 to 3 years of experience with heavy equipment, automotive, or on highway trucks.
