Job summary

AC Hotel Dallas Downtown is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Engineer to join our hotel operations in downtown Dallas. You will handle repairs and preventative maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems, responding to work orders and supporting a safe, efficient guest experience.

A valid driver’s license and trade license are preferred, with opportunities to contribute across hotel maintenance tasks and guest services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the property location (state-specific).
• MVR acceptable (property specific).

Responsibilities

• Fix-It Pro: Maintain preventative maintenance—bulbs, patching, paint, furniture, tiles—to keep areas in top condition.
• Equipment Whisperer: Repair and tune-ups for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen gadgets, laundry gear, HVAC, pool and spa equipment.
• Safety Hero: Respond to alarms, investigate causes, report findings to Front Desk.
• Trusted Access: Handle access to sensitive areas with integrity.
• Guest Connection: Interact with guests and colleagues professionally, drive safely when needed.
