Job summary

Hyatt Place Huntsville Research Park Redstone is hiring a Preventative Maintenance Engineer to keep guest areas and back-of-house systems running smoothly. You will tackle repairs, assist with carpentry, plumbing, and painting, and respond to work orders with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

The role requires hotel or related field experience, a high school diploma, and a valid trade license if applicable. A valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR are required by the property.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR as property requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to keep equipment and facilities in top condition.
• Handle tasks from carpentry to plumbing and painting as needed by the property.
• Respond to work orders and assist guests while maintaining safety and service standards.
• Coordinate with Front Desk on alarms and safety incidents and adhere to security protocols.
• Maintain professional conduct and trust when accessing sensitive areas.
