Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Engineer for Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Beach. You will tackle repairs and routine upkeep to keep all hotel systems running smoothly and safely, from plumbing to electrical work and even painting.

You’ll help guests, respond to work orders, and support operations as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment such as HVAC, ice machines, and laundry gear, ensuring safety, and protecting asset integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
• Must have an acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs across hotel systems and spaces.
• Repair and tune equipment: HVAC, ice machines, refrigerators, laundry gear and more.
• Respond to alarms, assess causes, and report findings to Front Desk.
• Access to safes, keys, storage, and files requires integrity and discretion.
• Interact with guests and colleagues professionally, representing the hotel well.
