Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality, LLC is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Engineer for a full-time role at the Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Beach. You will perform preventative maintenance, handle repairs, and assist across trades to keep hotel operations smooth and guests satisfied.

You’ll work on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related tasks, respond to work orders, and participate in a safety-conscious team environment while representing the company with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state (property specific).
• Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) (property specific).

Responsibilities

• Fix-It Pro: perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs to keep equipment and spaces in top condition.
• Equipment Whisperer: repair and tune up ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen gadgets, laundry gear, HVAC, and pool equipment.
• Safety Hero: respond to alarms, investigate causes, and report findings to the Front Desk.
• Trusted Access: handle access to sensitive areas and information with integrity and discretion.
• Guest Connection: engage with guests and colleagues professionally and drive safely when needed.
