Atira Hotels in Stevensville, MI seeks a Maintenance Representative to help keep our Fairfield Inn & Suites Stevensville property safe and comfortable for guests.

This part-time position covers weekend and evening shifts with a pay rate of $20 per hour. You will perform minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment is ready for the next day’s operations, contributing to a welcoming guest experience.

Qualificações

• Must be able to lift up to 100–300 pounds.
• Physical agility: standing, moving, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsabilidades

• Repair ceilings, filters, bulbs, vinyl, paint, pipes, toilets, sinks, kitchens and laundry fixtures.
• Perform preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Keep equipment operational for next day operations.
• Monitor equipment and electrical systems, including HVAC controls, doors, TVs, and lighting.
• Refurbish guest-room furniture and fixtures such as cabinets and tables.
• Handle additional tasks as directed by management.

Job Overview

Maintenance is crucial for ensuring a smooth operation in our hotel. As a Maintenance Representative, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete minor repairs such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, patching vinyl, painting, and repairs to pipelines, toilets, sinks, kitchen, and laundry equipment.


• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as per the hotel's schedule.


• Ensure all assigned equipment is operational for the next day's operations.


• Monitor and maintain efficiency of equipment and electrical systems including air conditioning controls, guest entrance doors, television sets, and lighting systems.


• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms as needed, including cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, and counters.


• Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by the manager/ supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry, pull, or push items weighing up to 100-300 pounds.


• Physical agility: frequent standing, moving, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and crawling.


• Working knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems, and preventive maintenance.


• Previous hotel experience preferred.
