Job summary

Atira Hotels seeks a General Manager to oversee all hotel operations at the Stevensville property. You will drive revenue, manage budgets, lead and develop a multi-department team, and maintain brand standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include financial analysis, marketing planning, safety compliance, and guest satisfaction initiatives, with a focus on profitability and strong working relationships across departments. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent hospitality experience.
• 5–10 years hotel management, with 2–5 years as General Manager at a full-service or upper mid-scale property.
• Alcohol awareness certification; General Manager certification as required by franchise.

• Create and monitor the annual budget, ensuring the hotel meets financial targets.
• Establish performance and development goals for team members.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to enhance performance.
• Manage human resources functions, including interviewing, training, coaching, counseling, and discipline.
• Work with executive management, housekeeping, maintenance, restaurant, and sales to develop goals and objectives.
• Ensure all departments are profitable and maintain strong working relationships.
• Protect hotel assets through a preventative maintenance program.
• Create local and national marketing plans and pricing strategies.
• Respond quickly to changing market conditions and revise strategies accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA, EEOC, Wage Hour, and Health laws.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, colleagues, and hotel assets.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction by responding quickly to guest requests and following up to ensure satisfaction.

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay:$70,000 - $75,000 per hour
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, Night shifts, Holidays, and Weekends

Job Overview:

As the General Manager, you will ensure the smooth operation of the hotel, maximize financial returns, drive team development, create memorable guest experiences, and maintain brand standards. You will oversee all departments, ensuring profitability and strong working relationships, while managing overall guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create local and national marketing plans and pricing strategies.
• Actively participate in sales discussions, meetings, and plans.
• Respond quickly to changing market conditions and revise strategies accordingly.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA, EEOC, Wage Hour, and Health laws.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, colleagues, and hotel assets.
• Guest Experience:
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction by responding quickly to guest requests and following up to ensure satisfaction.
• Promote hotel policies and philosophies to employees and guests through direct and indirect interaction.
• Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by the manager/ supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Education: Four-year college degree or equivalent experience in the hotel hospitality field.
• Experience: 5-10 years of hotel managerial experience, with 2-5 years as General Manager in a full-service or select-service, upper mid-scale property.
• Certification: Alcohol awareness certification; General Manager certification as required by franchise.
