Job summary

VMRC is seeking a Preventative & General Maintenance professional to complete the campus preventive maintenance program safely and efficiently. Schedule: 8:00AM–4:30PM Tue–Sat, with on-call evenings/weekends and 80 hours per pay period. Eligible for benefits at hire and on-site growth opportunities.

Must have a valid driver's license and ability to read and follow English instructions. This role requires a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to work with others across the VMRC

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in the maintenance field preferred.
• Must have a current Driver's License with acceptable DMV record.
• Ability to understand and carry out assignments in English.

Responsibilities

Preventative & General Maintenance

This position is primarily responsible for completing the preventive maintenance program at VMRC safely and efficiently. This position is also responsible for other general duties assigned across the VMRC campus.

Schedule:

• 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Tuesday - Saturday (start time may be flexible, based upon selected candidate's preference and supervisor's approval)
• On-call rotation for evenings/weekends (typical rotation is 1 week out of every 8-9 weeks)
• 80 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks)
• Eligible for benefits at date of hire

The range of pay for Preventative & General Maintenance is

$16.25 - $20.87 per hour.

Requirements

• Three years' experience in the maintenance field is preferred.
