Job summary

Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community in Harrisonburg, VA seeks a full-time exempt Resident Services Coordinator to act as the primary resident contact from admissions through transfer/discharge. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of human services and at least 2 years’ experience working with senior adults preferred.
• Must possess the ability to supervise, coordinate, and effectively lead the activities of others.
• Must be able to communicate orally, in writing, and through presentation effectively.
• Must be able to work collaboratively throughout the entire organization to effectively engage staff, residents, family members, and other stakeholders.
• Must possess computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) for operations, report generation, and presentations.
• Must possess a command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and willing to be flexible to accommodate changing priorities.
• Proven ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment with minimal supervision. Proficiency in a second language is a plus.

Responsibilities
