Job summary

Jaquith Consulting Group is seeking a Prevailing Wage & Compliance Officer (Labor Compliance Associate) to support the Hudson Tunnel Project. The role concentrates on ensuring compliance with prevailing wage laws, CUF requirements, and contract obligations through on-site interviews, payroll audits, and CUF checks at project sites in New York and New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in construction wage compliance or labor relations.
• Knowledgeable of prevailing wage laws and CUF regulations.
• Willingness to be trained on NY/NJ prevailing wage laws and public works contracts.
• General understanding of wage laws and CUF requirements.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site wage interviews to verify job classifications and wage rates.
• Audit payroll records to ensure compliance with prevailing wage rates.
• Review certified payroll reports submitted by contractors and subcontractors.
• Perform CUF evaluations for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor employer adherence to wage requirements and contract stipulations.
• Document non-compliance findings and prepare reports for the Compliance Manager.
• Assist in training contractors on CUF requirements and wage laws.
