Job summary

The Thirteenth Judicial District Court in Rio Rancho, NM seeks a Pretrial Services Supervisor to oversee staff providing pre-trial services to defendants ordered by the court. This full-time, permanent role involves supervision, training, and ensuring compliance with release conditions.

You will develop case management plans, coordinate with treatment providers, perform background investigations, and report on program compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and constitutional rights governing release and bond/bail eligibility.
• Experience with case management and coordinating services for defendants.
• Supervisory experience leading staff and conducting performance evaluations.
• Familiarity with NCIC procedures and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, train, overseeing, and evaluating staff’s recommendations for a defendant’s release.
• Direct supervision of two or more pretrial services staff.
• Develops employee performance plans, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Communicates changes in court programs, processes, rules, and systems.
• Directs and oversees background investigations on defendants.
