Job summary

The Administrative Office of the Courts in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a full-time Pretrial Services Officer 2 to support statewide QA, case management oversight, and program support. Based in a central remote unit, the role includes performing QA reviews, monitoring case supervision, and providing backup coverage for remote sites while training new staff.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field, at least 3 years in criminal justice or social

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice, social sciences or a related field.
• Three (3) years experience in criminal justice, social services, probation, corrections or related field.
• Must obtain and maintain NCIC certification within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-release and pre-adjudication background investigations on defendants.
• Formulate release plans and case management plans based on statutes and history.
• Supervise defendant compliance with court-ordered programs and release conditions.
• Provide backup support for remote intake and supervision as needed.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new pretrial officers and NCIC checks.
