Job summary

The New York City Criminal Justice Agency (CJA) seeks a Pretrial Program Coordinator to supervise court-based operations across boroughs, support pilots, and promote data-driven practices. You will lead staff, ensure timely release assessments, and coordinate with judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, and providers to improve pretrial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social service/social work, Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
• Two years of employment as a Court Services Coordinator for internal candidates.
• Experience with vulnerable populations and supervisory responsibilities appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and coordination of court-based operations.
• Assist with pilots, trainings, and collaboration with operations staff.
• Supervise release assessments and bail expediting services.
• Coordinate with court partners and stakeholders to ensure coverage and documentation.
• Support outreach staff with enhanced notification for people released on their own recognizance.
