Responsibilities

  • Interview recently arrested individuals in Central Booking locations to assess community ties and bail release potential.
  • Conduct telephone verifications of information provided by individuals (address, employment, sureties).
  • Explain bail procedures and assist with the bail payment process.
  • Record interview responses in the agency’s database and determine release recommendations using standardized assessments.
  • Monitor arraignment outcomes and assist with bail when imposed.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and programs to expedite bail and improve court procedures.
