Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Requires six months of experience in social work, human resources customer service or closely related experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and prepares bond documents.
• Interviews inmates during jail intake regarding the inmate’s finances.
• Reviews bond amounts set by courts using written guidelines.
• Investigates and interviews arrestees to determine if they qualify for pre-trial release.
• Reviews, tracks and submits listings of all misdemeanor inmates who qualify for pretrial release but lack the ability to pay required fees.
• Responds to queries regarding release through the pre-trial agency.
• Reviews all bonds posted by other investigators.
• Performs related work as assigned.
