Responsibilities

• Investigates and prepares bond documents.
• Interviews inmates during jail intake regarding the inmate’s finances.
• Reviews bond amounts set by courts using written guidelines.
• Investigates and interviews arrestees to determine if they qualify for pre-trial release.
• Reviews, tracks and submits listings of all misdemeanor inmates who qualify for pretrial release but lack the ability to pay required fees.
• Responds to queries regarding release through the pre-trial agency.

Once a personal bond is approved, appropriate documents are completed in a timely manner.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class.
