Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor (PBA) to maximize sales in the prestige category by engaging guests and assisting with product selection.

The role supports the Sales Manager and focuses on service, guest experience, and event‑driven selling. You will demonstrate hospitality, maintain store standards, learn product knowledge, and participate in makeup applications, skincare analysis, and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• Cosmetology license where required by state law.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and omni‑channel sales.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting, engaging, personalizing service, and informing guests of current promotions and events.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds and exchanges.
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest service.
• Book appointments for services and in‑store events delivering an unrivaled guest experience while achieving prestige brand sales goals.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
