Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor to maximize sales in color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance by engaging guests and assessing their needs for prestige products. You will support the Sales Manager with service, guest experience, and in-store events while maintaining store standards and promotions.

The role requires passion for the beauty industry, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn product knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Cosmetology or esthetician license where required by state law
• High school diploma preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and omni-channel sales in prestige category
• Provide exceptional service by greeting guests, personalizing service, and recommending products
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience
• Stay informed on industry trends, products and services to better serve guests
• Maintain prompt attendance and safeguard store assets
