Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor to maximize sales in the prestige category (color cosmetics, skincare, fragrance) by engaging guests and guiding product selections. The role supports the Sales Manager through focus on performance, people, and process in a fast-paced store environment.

The candidate should have a passion for beauty, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn and communicate product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology, esthetician, or demonstrator’s license where required by state law.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion and significant competency for prestige product, guest service, and selling.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and omni-channel sales with a focus on prestige and iconic brands.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service and is informed of promotions, events, and services.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver premier guest experiences.
