Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor to maximize sales in the prestige category (color cosmetics, skincare, fragrance) while delivering exceptional guest service. This role supports the Sales Manager through focus on performance, people, and process, and requires passion for the beauty industry and strong product knowledge.

Responsibilities include makeup applications, skincare analyses, demonstrations, and coordinating in-store events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology, esthetician or demonstrator’s license where required by state law.
• 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest service experience.
• Greet guests, tailor recommendations, and inform about current promotions and services.
• Book and support services and in-store events to deliver prestige and brand sales goals.
• Maintain store standards, replenish testers, and ensure hygiene compliance.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Attend corporate meetings and conferences, including overnight stays.
• Maintain overall store operational standards and loss prevention practices.
