Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor to maximize sales in color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance. You will engage guests to determine needs, recommend products, and perform makeup applications while upholding store standards and policies.

You will support the Sales Manager through guest service, events, and product education, with a focus on prestige brands and iconic products. Flexibility for scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology, esthetician or demonstrator’s license where required by state law.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and omni-channel sales, with a focus on prestige and iconic brands.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service with a guest-friendly environment, greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, and informing about promotions and events.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds and exchanges.
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest service.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting prestige sales goals.
• Stay informed on trends and product knowledge to better serve guests.
