Petrosmith Equipment in Texas is seeking experienced Vessel and Piping Welders to join our fabrication shop. You will interpret drawings, weld carbon steel components, and fit ANSI flanges to shells while preparing sub assemblies in shells.

Candidates must be able to pass 6G or 3G tests and have pressure vessel shop fabrication experience. Weekend schedule Thursday–Sunday includes a $5 shift differential, and a $500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Must pass 6G or 3G welding test.
• Experience fabricating pressure vessels is required.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• Read tape measures to 1/16 inch.
• Lift materials up to 50 pounds safely.

Aufgaben

• Interprets drawings and specifications
• Welds carbon steel components using approved procedures
• Fits ANSI/ ASME flanges to pipe and shells
• Lay-out nozzles and subassemblies in shells
• Burns and grinds nozzle cutouts to engineering tolerances
• Uses torches, grinders, and related tools
• Moves components using cranes and rigging safely
• Completes jobs per shop procedures
• Complies with safety rules
• Collaborates with team to optimize solutions
