Job summary

Fike Corporation in Blue Springs, MO seeks an Application Engineer 1 - Pressure Relief to guide sizing, selection, design, and troubleshooting of pressure relief solutions with sales partners. You will handle non-standard solution feasibility, pricing, and lead-time under guidance from senior engineers.

Responsibilities include preparing design submittals, maintaining product knowledge, and supporting cross-functional teams with data for pricing and development of new products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology, ABET accredited.
• Ability to travel up to 10% nationally; US permanent residency required for export control info.
• Preferred: 2+ years in engineering, technical sales, or pressure relief.

Responsibilities

• Provide application, design, product, installation, and troubleshooting consultation to customers.
• Prepare documentation and design submittal packages for customers.
• Assist in product selection, quotes, and proposals with sales teams.
• Support customers via daily calls and non-business hour emergencies.
• Utilize CRM, CPQ, PLM and ERP systems for daily tasks.
