Job summary

PEMEX Deer Park seeks a PEI Inspector to assure the integrity of pressure retaining equipment in their area. You will monitor equipment, collect and analyze data, and make recommendations to keep units mechanically safe for continued operation.

The role includes planning NDE and visual inspection scopes, guiding in-house inspectors or contractor partners, and maintaining inspection data in the IMS. You will coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams and support turnaround

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related integrity inspections in refinery or petrochemical settings.
• Hold API certifications API-510, API-570, and API-653.
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and communicate across teams.
• Experience with NDE methods (PT, RT, MT) and corrosion knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor pressure equipment to detect corrosion or damage that could cause unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate with Operations/Maintenance and RBI model updates for inspection planning.
• Document inspection findings in the Integrity Management System (IMS) and track in schedules.
• Lead discussion in CAIR reviews and provide guidance to inspection staff and contractors.
