Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Indiana is seeking a Pressure Check & Repair Specialist I to identify and repair issues with machined and welded parts. Training on 1st shift for up to 2 months, then moving to 2nd or 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of experience in welding and straightening operations.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive operations.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Excellent blueprint reading and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect and diagnose malfunctions in post-build products.
• Perform necessary adjustments and repairs, including welding repairs.
• Execute straightening operations to ensure product conformity.
• Conduct quality checks in compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with team members on assignments that require more than one person.
