Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to maintain and repair production equipment at our facility in Indiana. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating with vendors for repairs to ensure continuous operations.

The position requires basic mechanical experience, familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and the ability to stand for long periods. Training on 1st shift with potential shift rotation is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
• Familiar with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment and machines.
• Perform preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems and identify potential solutions.
• Complete work orders as assigned by Maintenance Manager using Maintenance Work Order Database.
• Coordinate with vendors and technicians for repairs and installations.
