Job summary

Pregis Corporation is hiring for a Utility-Days role in the manufacturing/press area. The position reports to the Shift Supervisor and follows a 6 AM–6 PM schedule (2‑2‑3).

You will help prepare press makeready materials, maintain rollers, and assist the press crews while upholding safety and housekeeping standards. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong mechanical and mathematical skills.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to take coaching and communicate respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Readies all make-ready material for the press and gathers materials before makeready.
• Maintain rollers and cylinders; keep new rollers ready behind presses.
• Ensure safe handling of solvents, glue and oils; keep areas clean and organized.
• Maintain waste/oil containment and proper packaging for pickup.
