Engle Printing & Publishing Co., Inc. is seeking a dependable Pressroom Production Associate to support press operations on 1st shift in Lancaster, PA.

The role focuses on packing, stacking, and preparing printed products to meet customer specifications while upholding quality, safety, and production standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, production or printing is helpful but not required.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review Job Information Sheets to ensure correct packing and stacking requirements are followed.
• Set up stacking equipment according to job specifications, including preparing skids, gaylords, cartons, and related materials.
• Assist with press makeready activities and perform support tasks during downtime.
• Monitor stacker performance and address minor issues to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Stack and prepare printed products according to required patterns and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Use supplies efficiently and support departmental cost-control efforts.
• Follow all safety procedures, including machine guarding, lockout/tagout requirements, hearing protection, and proper handling of chemicals and materials.
• Participate in departmental improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
