Job summary

Menasha Packaging is seeking a Press Utility to support our Rotary Press Department. This role assists press operators by preparing and maintaining printing plates, inspecting product quality, and ensuring production runs efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires a 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure/ruler accurately.
• Basic math skills, including measuring and calculating dimensions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn printing press operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and gather printing plates to and from machine centers.

• Return printing plates to designated storage areas.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.

About The Opportunity

The Press Utility person is responsible for cleaning the printing plates. The person in this position will also be required to fill in on the presses. Work Schedule Requirements

• Ability to work a 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work rotating shifts if required by business needs.
