Job summary

Menasha Corporation seeks a Utility Material Operator to remotely operate transfer cars moving corrugated board and WIP to machine centers, ensuring stock is available for production.

Responsibilities include following schedules, maintaining safety, and collaborating with a wide range of roles in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous transfer car operator experience.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.
• Ability to work on rotating shifts.
• Ability to interact and communicate with many roles and work in teams.

• Identify units with (5 status) in the CIMS system that need reidentification.
• Ensure the CIMS system reflects most current schedule produced by Plant Scheduler.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors.

About The Opportunity

The Utility Material Operator remotely operates three transfer cars to move stacks of corrugated board and WIP to machine centers or storage areas. This person is also responsible for following machine center schedules and ensuring the stock is available at those machine centers when needed.

Essential Functions

• Load each machine center or out-take line correctly
• Identify units with (5 status) in the CIMS system that need reidentification
• Ensure the CIMS system is reflecting most current schedule produced by Plant Scheduler
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Education / Certification

High school diploma or equivalent

Work Experience Desired

• Previous transfer car operator experience
• Previous shuttle car operator experience
