Job summary

LG Electronics USA is seeking a proactive manufacturing associate in Clarksville, TN to support stamping die operations. You will troubleshoot die/press issues, perform preventive maintenance on stamping dies, and assist with processes while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, operating an overhead crane and forklift, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Strong English communication and safety discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must read/write/speak English and follow job instructions.
• Able to read and interpret prints and blueprints.
• Able to operate and learn stamping die processes.
• Experience with overhead crane and forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot die/press related problems in a production environment.
• Perform PM activities on stamping dies, progressive and blanking.
• Operate press and learn new processes as needed.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift safely.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain clean work area.

• Troubleshooting -- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems and repair.
• Problem Solving -- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects from parts to improve die quality.
• Communicating -- Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, or in person.
• Getting Information -- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources, able to read and understand prints. Must also be able to follow job instructions, comprehend specifications, and determine correct machine setup to achieve the correct final product. Must be able to use measuring tools and devices such as protractors, micrometers, scribes, and rulers
• Handling and Moving Objects -- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating machine operations.
