Job summary

LG Electronics in Clarksville, TN is seeking a skilled stamper die operator to support production lines. You will troubleshoot die/press issues, perform PM on stamping dies, and operate presses, cranes, and forklifts with a focus on safety and quality.

Excellent reading of blueprints and precise measurement skills are required. The role requires ability to work overtime, self-motivation, and clear communication within a team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Preferred Experience

• Operation of overhead crane
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints
• Operation of manual machine tools (lathe, milling machine, grinders, radial arm drill press)
• Troubleshooting -- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems and repair.
• Problem Solving -- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects from parts to improve die quality.
• Communicating -- Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, or in person.
• Getting Information -- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources, able to read and understand prints. Must also be able to follow job instructions, comprehend specifications, and determine correct machine setup to achieve the correct final product. Must be able to use measuring tools and devices such as protractors, micrometers, scribes, and rulers
• Handling and Moving Objects -- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating machine operations.
