Job summary

Imprimus Labels & Packaging is seeking a Press Support team member to help our Flexo Press Operators produce premium labels for diverse industries. This role is hands-on in a manufacturing setting, offering opportunities for growth and long-term career development.

You will assist with setup, material staging, and production support, while learning press make-ready techniques and quality standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of manufacturing or related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and training.
• Previous experience in the printing or packaging industry is a plus.
• Experience using hand tools and basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to read instructions and follow detailed procedures.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist Press Operators in preparing presses for production runs by verifying job specifications.
• Read and understand customer job jackets and production instructions.
• Gather and stage all materials and equipment needed for press setup.
• Perform press make-ready activities, including loading and removing print cylinders, dies, laminations, inks, and substrates.
• Assist with the setup of auxiliary press equipment.
• Retrieve label stock and materials from inventory.
• Remove finished rolls from presses as needed.
• Empty waste containers and maintain a clean and organized production area.
• Follow safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with production team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
