Job summary

Resource Label Group, LLC is hiring a Press Support Associate to assist Press Operators in setting up and running printing presses for pressure sensitive labels.

The role offers onsite training and opportunities to advance within the production team. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Follows guidance and direction from Press Operator.
• Loads dies into press, installs print cylinder on shaft and loads ink accordingly.
• Maintains ink pans, screens and pumps with prescribed inks; adjusts tension and feed as directed.
• Starts press and adjusts speed and stock alignment to the print cylinder.
• Inspects printed rolls for imperfections and makes adjustments as needed.
• Cleans plates, print cylinders and dies; performs routine maintenance as approved.
