You will work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on setup, preventive maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration within the Vertex Fasteners team in Des Plaines.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with machine setup, troubleshooting and production changeovers; dies, presses, or extrusion equipment preferred.
• Forklift certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble, disassemble, install, adjust, and troubleshoot dies on press and extrusion equipment.
• Prepare machines for product changeovers and verify setup accuracy before production startup.
• Start equipment, monitor operation, and respond to machine, die, material, or product issues.
• Use measuring equipment to confirm products meet quality standards.
• Promote safe work practices and support teamwork and communication.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, shipping, and management.
