Job summary

MCC is seeking a Press Assistant to join our team in Provo, Utah. The role involves assisting in the setup and support of printing presses, ensuring alignment with job tickets and customer expectations while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The ideal candidate communicates well, can read measurements, and is capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. Prior print shop experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented and able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to interpret job tickets and specifications.
• Proficient in basic data entry and measurement reading.
• Must be able to pass color, ruler, and eye tests.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist in setup and preparation of printing presses for job changes.
• Clean up and maintain press area and equipment.
• Strip plates from cylinders and locate dies as needed.
• Support quality assurance and document related work.
