Position Summary

Ensure continuous production flow, support problem-solving, and coach employees to meet departmental goals. Communicate with support resources to resolve issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide backup support to the Production Supervisor.
• Support production by operating and setting up equipment as needed.
• Lead and participate in Lean activities such as MDI, 5S, and Kaizen to reduce waste.
• Operate equipment like CRTs, forklifts, etc.
• Coordinate employee training and ensure proper documentation.
• Manage material and information flow within the department.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and recognize employee contributions.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper procedures.
• Report safety hazards and participate in safety inspections.
• Adjust staffing based on operational needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 3-5 years of production experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows applications and MACPAC.
